A big thanks to everyone at the Kings that entrusted me with this story. Bul, Makuach and Kouat were fantastic to interview and shared some incredible stories and thoughtful reflections. Massive shoutout to the media crew that brought this story to life too. Amazing visuals.

Here's Dante Exum's 13 points from Barcelona's OT win over Unics. Slowly growing his offensive role, but he's also been fantastic on the defensive end.

Dyson Daniels has quickly gone from the end of the Boomers bench last year to one of most important pieces through these tune up games. A menace defensively, knocking down his threes and finding opportunities on cuts.

Disappointment aside, this is the end for Brian Goorjian, and likely Patty Mills and Joe Ingles, as Boomers. We've been so lucky to have these names as cornerstones of the Boomers program for so long. I'm glad we got one more inspired half of basketball from Patty in this one.

Dante Exum is shooting the ball better than he ever has with Partizan this season. Across 23 combined Liga ABA and Euroleague games, Exum is shooting 48% from three (54 attempts) and 95% from the line (84 attempts).

AWESOME debut for Dante Exum. 22 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Barcelona was great for him but Exum will really get to shine in Partizan this season. Chance to feature at an elite level and a great platform to get back to the NBA as well.

Seeing Reath and Exum blow up in the NBA this month has been amazing. It may be an odd takeaway, but given how much we know NBA success is talent, but also opportunity and fit, I think we should stop placing inherent value in NBA pedigree when selecting Boomers squads. (1/3)
This is a Duop Reath appreciation post 🥹

In lieu of Josh Giddey's start to the season, do we all agree that he was almost an undeniable pick for the Olympic squad, disregarding possible extraneous factors such as Delly vet status, Giddey's pre-draft process, etc?

Exum + Green + Thybulle is the ultimate Australian perimeter D trio. I approve your off-season, Mavs.

"You don't need to win a medal to have a beautiful journey" - Andrew Gaze. Win or loss, it's been incredibly special watching this group compete at the Olympics all through growing up with integrity, determination and passion. (I'm glad it ended in a win).

Lonnie Walker, Derrick White and Dejounte Murray is a crazy trio of young guards for the Spurs. Almost makes you wonder whether DeRozan on 27m+ is going to become a piece they're best off moving.
