- My immediate offseason checklist: 1) Re-sign Pete Alonso (he got them this far, remember that) 2) throw the house at Juan Soto 3) sign Sean Manaea 4) sign an ace 5) get more swing and miss in the bullpen Then, we can talk about a better matchup vs LA in 2025.
- Also - lets not forget José Quintana and his six scoreless innings. He was magnificent tonight. #Mets
- You may be pleased to learn I finished my treatment for cancer at Sloan today. Now, we let it bake, get another scan next week, and see what all of this means going forward.

- I'm sure all of the players agree with this, and many owners will not, but I am of the belief that if there's a "Steve Cohen Tax" for spending too much money, there should be a, "Tampa Bay Rays Tax" for not spending enough. That's what I'm thinking as I drink my coffee.
