    One thing I find very funny is how people back home help you calculate how much you earn monthly? Especially when they know you work all round. “I’m sure you make over £2500 which is about 5 million Naira, parting with 100k (£100) shouldn’t be hard for you now” Ori e ti daru!

    Omo! The way they cooked this girl ehn. Back in 2014, I prayed like crazy when I applied for a Canadian visiting visa, I didn’t get it. In 2020, I did the same for a UK visiting visa, still didn’t get it. In 2019, I even scheduled a US visa interview but canceled it a few days

    People mock what they don’t understand. Last year, I dressed like my miracle, even made a paper boarding pass with my name on it, acted in faith, and waited on God. It was funny, and I probably looked mad because I was dressed in a winter jacket in my room, holding a travel box.

    Many of them are shortsighted. I’m currently a project manager but there’s no job I didn’t do when I was came to the uk. Care assistant, waiter, runner, bartender etc. By the way, I was never short of women. My first girlfriend was a senior accountant who was earning over £70k

    This is one of the reasons a lot of ladies are still single in this country. They’re more interested on visa status, the guy’s job than the individual. Everybody is pressing calculator.

    What can your Msc bring to the table like now now???? DL was delivering COS while Msc was still buffering, till the extent that white paper caught up with it. No disrespect to your Msc, but in terms of survival which is what majority came here for, DL is the current champion.

    I have been living with my neighbor for over 4 years and it was two days ago I got to know his name. I needed to pay some money into his account and he sent his bank details. We’ve been calling each other boss for years. It’s the norm with guys and we don’t care.
