- I wore an N95 mask on my flight this AM (I subconsciously touch my face). The person next to me immediately asked if I was sick and then after I said no, lectured me about how the mask won’t help at all so it’s dumb to wear. So it’s nice to know twitter exists in the real world.
- I wish someone would have told me this earlier in my life so...a lot of people your age are doing things you aren't, entirely because of family money.
- My take on the Thiel/Rogan interview is that it is a masterclass in someone far smarter than someone else getting mansplained to and responding with more insight/contesting viewpoints while still making the overconfident person feel valuable and not offended.

- just going to say once again that crypto people so badly wanted trump for their bags, said it was by far the most important thing and ignored all other policy, and then the dude dumped memecoins on them 2x in 24 hours, opening the overton window for Milei to do the same, and
- When a founder becomes a threador I immediately: - worry that their company metrics are suffering and they are now more concerned with personal brand than their company - wonder how much secondary they sold - expect them to become a VC at some point
- The future is only going to get weirder and my only advice is to accept that and approach these fundamental shifts with an open mind.

- YC used to feel like a window into understanding the areas progressing from “what smartest people are doing on weekends” -> vc-backed startup. Today it feels like the best window into what is the current consensus thing. Not bad & still a good basket but meaningfully
