yesterday my job offer got rescinded. they requested i undertook a health assessment which i passed, but they found out a diagnosis i previously had and didn’t disclose because it isn’t active (which is my right by law) and they withdrew my job offer. i’m heartbroken over this.

i spoke to a lawyer who offered a free consultation and she has been amazing, and she did further digging and has found out that part of my medical record was sent over without my consent. this is disability discrimination and i’ve now got to consider taking it further.

they were aware of my endometriosis but have withdrew the offer because i had a bout of agoraphobia. some of you may recall i was followed into a public bathroom by a very drunk + handsy man and dog walkers heard me crying for help and intervened. this caused that flare up.

i am now faced with deciding whether to take this further and sue them for discrimination or just attempt to move on. if i do, i will be selling merch to cover the cost of my lawyer, who is confident this will be resolved before an actual court date as i have plenty of evidence.
