This is for those who appreciate lasagna. I used the lasagna sheets, beautiful ricotta, and fresh mozzarella that I bought at the Italian market. Using my homemade sauce. If you’re going to be rude just don’t.

Am I just stupid or was charcuterie not really a thing until the past few years? Like when I was a kid my mom put out Italian meats and cheeses and called it antipasto.Nobody ever called it charcuterie.

Red wine braised pot roast over garlic mashed potatoes. It’s a good Sunday dinner.

So I thought about ordering egg rolls to go at my local Chinese food place. But then I realized I had all the ingredients. So I made some instead.

I made Tourtière. It is a French Canadian meat pie. Originating from Quebec. Sometimes served with a gravy but usually served as is. It’s a good winter meal. I layered it because I’m extra like that.

I made more Naan. It’s so easy to do. To think of all of the packages I’ve bought.

Steak pinwheels with garlic, spinach and aged provolone. Hasselback potatoes with garlic butter and cheddar. The combination of flavors works beautifully.

I made pineapple upside down cake with grilled fresh pineapple. Maraschino cherries for the nostalgia because that’s how my mom made it.

So I didn’t feel like dinner, so I made a snack. Garlic Parmesan smashed baby potatoes. With some lemon zest and garlic sour cream. These will do.
