If you’re a competitor and feel nothing when you play, that’s a problem. Emotions—both good and bad—fuel performance, keep us hungry, and remind us why we play. They guide us toward success and keep us humble along the way. Don’t be dead inside. Playing the game is a privilege!

Privileged to have played a few officials against you in ECL. Definitely understand the feeling of 'losing yourself' to the grind, I experienced the same. Focusing on hobbies outside of gaming and connecting with people in real life really helps you find that sense of self again.

It's great for the pro scene and the salaried teams in EU that have opportunities to play so many tournaments, as it gives teams a chance to qualify for events they might not have been able to in the past. For everyone else, including all of NA < Wildcard, it sucks.
