- Hon'ble CM, Telangana will lay foundation stone for the Hyderabad Airport Express Metro project on the 9th of December. This is a 31km corridor costing aboutRs 6250 cr. It's in tune with Hon'ble CM's vision of making Hyderabad a global city.
- Telangana state Cabinet has today (31.07.2023) approved development of the following metro rail Corridors

- Happy to announce that the service hours of Hyderabad Metro Rail are being extended with effect from 10 October 2022(Monday). The last train will leave at 11 PM from respective terminal stations while starting the daily services at the usual 6 AM.
- Taking off from Raidurg Metro terminal station, it will touch ORR at Nanakramguda jn & traverse along the ORR to reach Shamshabad international airport.
- Hyderabad metro arranged a special train to transport a heart harvested from a brain dead person over 21 KM in 30 minutes during rush evening hours today(02.02.2021) to save a life.
- We will restore metro train services in about 15 minutes from now(from 6.35 pm onwards).

00:00 - Along with the above, Cabinet has also approved BHEL-LAKDIKAPUL line with connectivity to Miyapur (26km) & Nagole-LB Nagar (5km) with a revised cost estimate of Rs 9,100cr as a JV partnership Project of GoTS & GoI.
- With 69 km of operational metro; 31 km of Airport Metro; 31 km of BHEL-LAKDIKAPUL with Miyapur connection & Nagole-LB Nagar connectivity; 5.5 km of old city metro & 278 km of the new 8 extension & 4 ORR Metro Corridors, metro coverage in Hyderabad will be about 415km.
