    Ok, this is seriously amazing. Not only did our Project Assistant, Ciara spot a curled octopus whilst rockpooling by Menai Bridge, Anglesey, but she also managed to capture it changing colour! 🐙 Check out some great facts about octopuses here: mcsuk.org/news/five-fact…

    Kate O'Neil, Marine Biologist, was lucky enough to spot a #swordfish in the Firth of Forth yesterday: "I was really excited when I realised we were watching a swordfish, a species that (to the best of our knowledge) has only been recorded in Scotland a handful of times!"

    Happy #YearOfThePig! Do you know the sea pig? A type of sea cucumber, sea pigs are found in oceans all over the world. They feed using their face tentacles as they stroll along the ocean floor & have been described as "living vacuum cleaners" (📸@MBARI_News)
