- The Class of 2020 will graduate on Saturday, May 30, at Virginia Tech in the cage parking lot. We can’t wait to celebrate the Class of 2020 and all of their accomplishments. 🎉🎓

- MCPS has adopted a new school uniform policy. Effective immediately, all students are required to wear khaki pants, a button up shirt, a "Dr. Miear" bow tie, and a sweater vest that reads "April Fools" on the back. #gotcha #AprilFoolsDay
- There is rain in the forecast today and we realized our food loading zone at BHS isn't covered. Many thanks to McCoy Funeral Home for donating tents to keep the workers and food dry for our meal delivery service. We are proud to be a part of this amazing community.

- Mailed packets for students in grades PK-2 are headed out today! They should be in your mailboxes this weekend. Our teachers put a lot of work into creating engaging and relevant content that is accessible for all of their students.

- A quick overview of the Reopening decisions made by the School Board tonight. The first day of school will be on Tuesday, September 8. Student schedules will be as publicized - elementary students attending half-day and secondary students attending on rotating AM/PM half days.
