    A reminder as petrol, gas & coal prices soar due to a horrible war… the price of the sunshine & wind powering 30% of our grid & all our electric vehicles… hasn’t changed. It’s still a $0 cost input. Energy independence comes from renewable abundance.

    Ok. I read all 129 pages of the pamphlet. Its not worth the paper I didn’t print it on. I understand technology damn well. This isn’t a “technology driven approach”. It’s inaction, misdirection & avoiding choices. I’m going to bed. This is just ridiculously embarrassing.

    I’m sure I’m not the first to be confused that we fund a $600m uneconomic donation for a gas power plant at Kurri Kurri that the market didn’t need or ask for… Yet we have no money for free rapid tests and “the private market should cater for demand”? 🤷🏼‍♂️

    🇬🇧 UK 2050 plan? 21 docs. 1868 pages. Heat & building strategy. Heat pump grants. EV incentives. End gas boilers by 2035, ICE sales by 2030! Treasury reviewed. CCC approved. Pathways for every sector to 2037. Legally binding. 5 year targets. 🇦🇺 Aus? No plan. Just more bullshit.

    Today’s decision by the US Supreme Court not only strips away rights from women and pregnant people, but also puts their health and safety at risk. At Atlassian, we are dismayed at this decision and stand firmly against the restriction and removal of rights that have been entrusted in people for decades. Our priority is the health and safety of our employees, including their right to access safe and legal reproductive healthcare. Starting today, US employees living in states that have restricted or banned abortions will be offered reimbursement for travel and accommodations for themselves and a companion should they seek care outside their state. We will continue to look across the communities in which we operate to find ways to further support gender equality and help build a sustainable, equitable world.

    - AEMO? More gas generation not needed - CSIRO? Gas generation = expensive electricity - Economists? Gas extraction creates very few jobs - Scientists? Gas incompatible with our Paris goals - Investors? Gas has bad returns. No $. Politicians? <Ignore experts> MORE GAS! 🤦🏻‍♂️
