- So A&M beat Alabama without two starting receivers, their starting left tackle, their starting quarterback, two starting corners and their best defensive tackle, who got hurt midgame. And their best reserve DT.
- Coach Elko mentions that the volleyball team will be playing at LSU Friday night and encourages Aggies to "double dip" if they're going to Baton Rouge. Never heard an A&M football coach do that before.
