Was at the Nigeria - Niger Republic border in Jibia today with the CG of Customs. There are several stranded trucks on the border with some going in while others going out. I spoke with some of the drivers for @PremiumTimesng . The situation is dicey

Military men have responded to SOS from residents of Shinkafi area in Zamfara State as bandits' activities surge. Soldiers were seen mounting check points and clearing bushes near the main road leading to Kaura Namoda in a bid to steam attacks.
