update: today we had 3 exams. he turned up in a black turtleneck & dress pants, a fancy belt, and a long brown coat (SO fine)… then when a flirty friend came up to me, he subtly slid himself between us (insanely close) & firmly said, “it’s alright. thank you, but we’ve got it.”

Update: we were apart for 9 months due to my schedule + I self-isolated out of chronic pain & grief. I thought he’d give up on me, but now that we’re coworkers again? He carries ALL my dental tools, PERSONALLY accommodated my disability at work, spots my pain, and buys me sweets.
