    FIRE THREAT persists. Extinguishers and chisel plows on standby again today. IN farmer I know put out a fire yesterday…this friend in NW Ohio wasn’t as lucky.

    COLTEN LEE HOWARD, 18....On this day of his funeral, local farmers shared this expression of mourning in their own way. Colten died in a grain bin while working on an area farm last Friday. (Thank you, Keith Jeffries)

    Offspring’s offspring. I wasn’t able to raise a son, and maybe not a grandson, but there is something SO special about grandgirls.
