“Everything happens for a reason” is from Aristotle, not Jesus.

The Apostle Paul mentions TEN women in Romans 16, SEVEN of them he mentions out of respect for their ministry. He is either: 1) Contradicting the “plain reading” of his letters in 1 Cor. 14, Eph. 5, 1 Tim. 2, & Titus 2 OR 2) we haven’t been reading them in their proper context

April’s brother here. Jesus does not call us to all think the same way on every issue. Unfortunately, there are plenty of comments here that do not reflect Christ’s call to love our neighbors & enemies. We can love each other WHILE voting differently. P.S. I also voted for KH.

There was a time when, if asked what Christian ministers I looked up to most, I would have said Steven Furtick, Robert Morris, Levi Lusko, Greg Laurie (you know, the big wig, Christian celebrities). Now, this is my list. I trust this list. Who would you add?

Reminder: Pledging allegiance to a national flag is not normal around the world. Additionally: For Jesus followers, pledging allegiance to a kingdom other than Christ’s kingdom is idolatry.

The first thing I condemned from the Biden admin was the bombing. Instead of conservatives Christians liking my FB post, they argue with me again, pointing me to OT violence and Jesus flipping tables. This is exhausting. Why do so many Christians love violence? 😔

Why are Christians’ so quick to dismiss global warming?

Never heard something more ironic than calling people “sheep” for taking a vaccine and then taking a drug meant for sheep.

If you hear of a “Pentecostal” that does not seek to break down the barriers of racism—personally or systemically—they simply do not practice authentic, biblical Pentecost.

Saw this on Facebook. People actually believe this. 🤔🙃

Hard to comprehend a pledge of allegiance within the very same pages of a Bible that condemns giving allegiance to anything but Christ.
Some questions about the Bible and politics are really complicated and difficult. Whether or not you should publish a Bible with a copy of the Constitution, Pledge of Allegiance, and Declaration of Independence in it is not one of them.

I think reading the Bible in a year is both admirable and helpful in the life of a Christian. But, I would MUCH rather a Christian spend a year soaking in the red letters of Jesus for a year over fatigue setting in once they get to 2 Kings.
