As a young kid in NJ I wasn’t allowed to watch 10pm devils games. My dad left the house at 5am every morning but he’d always leave me a note on the kitchen table the morning after. Always something like: “Devs win 3-0. Another shutout for Marty. Elias, Gomez, Sykora goals. LGD”
