wow a lot of people really don’t like Johnny not my Johnny though right guys I played him when he was bad - If you've been playing fighting games for some time, but haven't improved and/or are frustrated with where you are. - I think we lack trash talk actually. Especially in the Strive community. Everyone giving hugs and saying I love you after losing big sets at majors is a far cry from how things used to be lol.The FGC is really lacking sportsmanship. Crying on twitter about how you lost to a specific player you "shouldn't have lost to" just makes you look weaker and worse. Private salt is private salt but don't be publicly shaming people...
- God, I can’t stand this scrubby mentality. Give the patch at least a week. Jack-O unplayable? Testament, A.B.A, Pot, Faust, I-No, Anji, Gio 'barely playable'? What am I reading? Strive community's neuroticism & circle-jerking over patches leads to the dumbest takes.Thoughts on the current patch, unordered. It's so unacceptable that we went from a patch where every char (except zato) was playable and could reasonably do well in bracket to this patch where there is literally no point to playing >30% of the cast.
- Speaking of people at tournaments abusing power or lacking self-awareness. My favorite example of all time. This is pure gold. Don't put your hands on people, rule number fucking one.
