    Let the media run with this Traveller story. It wont get the click bait from angry racists, but it's worth the write up.Well done to this young lad. Recently Travellers helped save a driver, who was trapped inside an overturned truck. Plenty of positive stories, if you look.

    I'm sorry, but this ain't our culture and I challenge every Traveller org in the country to call this crap out. Yes, sulkies are part of a tradition held by SOME, but ANIMAL WELFARE and road user SAFETY must supersede everything else. I don't care who it offends, this is wrong.

    Ugh, for feck sake like. 36 years of age and my mother still shouting and roaring at me for drinking milk from the bottle and putting it back in the fridge. There's worse out there than my germs. All her shouting has now brought us to the attention of the Tesco security guard.

    A young Traveller lad who was enrolled on a Diversity program at An Garda Siochána was told he failed Garda vetting and would not be offered a position. He's 18 with no criminal history. #cblive

    There was a young Traveller lad today out with a plastic bag picking nuts from trees. He knew all the edible ones and the ones that didn't feel ripe. He knew all sorts about the different trees. He was about 15/16. That's a part of the culture that's all but forgotten and lost.

    For the 1st time 2 Travellers were nominated for smedia awards.Both Travellers study at @UL and both picked up awards for group projects. @MartinMongan_ as editor and 1st Irish Traveller to a journalism BA, and I as a director and 1st Traveller to do an MA in journalism. Tome😊
