2019 brought some bad idiosyncratic health shocks (a car hit me while biking+I fell bouldering and had to get knee surgery to fix an unhappy triad). 2020 brought a bad macro health shock. I hope these giant pacific mantas on Jan 1st are a good sign of what 2021 lays ahead.
