    Imagine my MP coming to MY doorstep, standing in front of MY pride flag and lecturing ME on conversion therapy and why he didn't vote for banning it? And then calling ME intolerant when I asked him to leave my property? So how's your Saturday going?

    My taxes pay for roads I'll never drive, hospitals I'll never use, child care I no longer need, universities I'll never attend, social programs I'll never use. And I'm MORE than OK with that and the privilege I have living in a democratic society that cares about each other.

    Wow. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was struck by the truth of these words. However, I wasn't the 1st to say them. They came up in convo today with a friend but didn't know until now who may have said them first. Might be him ๐Ÿ‘‡Stay safe. Stay healthy. #Covid19

    When I came out as #trans to my parents at 40, my mom pleaded why I didn't tell them sooner. I asked what they would have done had I done so? She said "We would have sent you to a doctor to fix you". That's why many of us don't come out. And that's why #BillC4 matters if we do.

    Father's Day is complicated for me. My own dad wants nothing to do with me. People don't know whether to wish me happy Mother's Day or Father's Day so often I get neither. But my 14 yo watched movies in bed with me, his head on my shoulder & that is truly all I needโค #BuddyTime

    Thanksgiving is always a complicated time for me. I came out to my family 7 years ago just after dinner. I was told to leave. Haven't seen them since. I'm most grateful I can and am thriving on my own.
