Rather than instructing players to scan or make better decisions, design training in such a way that these behaviors become necessary and meaningful.
Suggestions for 2019. Lets stop using the words 'elite', 'talent' and 'a product of ..'(kids are not products) in connection to kids football. They are used as a sales pitch and shameless self promotion. Remove these words and see what happens to the culture over time

Why an early selection can make you look stupid. In Iceland we take decision regarding elite selection very late. All players get the same coaching until 15/16 years old.
