    Certain pubs in Sydney’s inner west not showing the Melbourne Cup because of animal rights activists putting pressure on the publicans. I also find it funny that hese protestors are happy to take advantage of the public holiday in Melbourne What is happening to this country!!

    The NRL has confirmed there’ll be a moments silence before every game this weekend to honour the late Tommy Raudonikis. Who thinks we should name the Origin Shield, the Beetson Raudonikis Shield? If I think about State or Origin, they are the two names that spring to mind.

    A mate, a mentor, a super bloke. I am absolutely devastated to lose someone who has become like a father figure to me. Davey, thank you for everything you’ve taught me and thank you for the excitement you’ve given listeners over the last 5 decades. RIP David ‘Thirsty’ Morrow.

    NRL happy to bend the rules to allow Joseph Suaalii to debut before 18, but won’t let Ronaldo Mulitalo play for Qld over an 11 month technicality in the eligibility rules. He played U20s for Qld so let him run out tonight for the biggest moment of his life. Disgraceful decision

    This is the easiest way of letting everyone know my dad passed away suddenly last night after a routine operation. Absolutely devastated, I wish we mended our relationship the last few years. His last message was about how proud he was of my career in media. Love you Dad RIP

    I don’t blame her when the Diamonds refuse to wear her logo on their uniforms all because of comments made 40 years ago. If you sponsor a team/organisation, you expect some recognition or a return on your investment. Netball is broke and Gina Rinehart was prepared to save it.

    We keep wasting our breath on Kyrgios and Tomic when we should be focusing on the real stars of Australian tennis. Alex Bolt and Alex De Minaur are genuine Aussie athletes who show emotion, determination and a will to win. Kyrgios and Tomic could learn a lot from them both!!!!!

    I say it every year, the television coverage of Bathurst is UNBELIEVABLE. Drivers and teams crash out of the race and minutes later they’re explaining their feelings and emotions. We can’t speak to footy players/coaches a day before a game. NRL could learn a thing or two.

    The NRL had a chance to send a clear message to the players and failed miserably. If you think a 20k fine (50k with 60% suspended) is sufficient, you are kidding yourself. These blokes have jeopardised the return of the footy and the livelihoods of the players and officials

    BREAKING - Gerard Sutton retains his place in first grade despite missing a blatant knock on in the Panthers Eels Game. He’ll referee on Sunday as Wests Tigers play North Queensland. What happened to officials being held accountable for their mistakes? It was a howler!!!

    To be in the room when Ray Hadley informed David Morrow of his elevation to the Rugby League Hall of Fame is something I’ll cherish forever. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honour. ‘Thirsty’ is a great mate, colleague and mentor. Congratulations Davey!!!
