- Last four games : Darnold 11 TDs, 0 INTs. Kirk 0 TDs, 8 INTs.
- I'm not a fan, but this Vikings season doesn't feel like one of those giant disappointments where you pound your head on the ground and demand that everyone be fired. I think they gave it a good swing, all things considered, and all their young guys have improved since Week 1.
- The Vikings now have 23 sacks as a team. One more than Jared Allen had in 2011.
- Talked to Randall McDaniel. He said Chris Doleman had his surgery to remove a brain tumor today. Surgery went well and Chris is in recovery. Best wishes to Chris.
- Danielle Hunter has played 128 NFL games. That is his FIRST roughing the passer penalty.
- After two games, the Vikings' MVP might be Michael Pierce.

- Every time I see pass rushers lose control, I go back to Danielle Hunter's career penalty stats. Guy has 48 1/2 sacks in 72 games. He has been flagged only SIX TIMES for 42 yards. His ONLY 15-yard infraction came when he grabbed a facemask while making a tackle his rookie season.
- Congrats to former #Vikings DE Jared Allen for making the Pro Football Hall of Fame's final 15 modern-era candidates for a second straight year. Four first-team All-Pros, No. 12 on the career sack list. The supposed character risk who never missed a game in six years as a Viking.
- Well-written post by our guy Andrew presenting Kirk's views stated on the podcast.
