    one of the things that fascinates me about taylor swift is how dead clothes look on her. she can be covered in sequins but fail to channel camp or glam, in a form-fitting black dress but fail to be sensual, dressed down and fail to look effortless

    personally i think we are in dire cultural straits when the inner lives (or lack thereof) of rich people are the primary subject matter in supposedly subversive/edgy television (white lotus, succession)
