    Worrying situation in Jammu and Kashmir. In a telephone call today with Pakistan’s FM H.E. Shah Mahmood Qureshi I stressed that the EU, incl. Sweden, supports a bilateral political solution between India and Pakistan over Kashmir, dialogue through diplomatic channels is crucial.

    Mohsen Shekari was executed today in Iran by the Islamist regime. He was 23 years old. Sweden and EU must take action quickly to save others. The International community needs to speak out loud and clear against this.

    Turkish decision to allow sex with children under 15 must be reversed. Children need more protection, not less, against violence, sex abuse.

    I just read today that Viktor Orbán in Hungary and Matteo Salvini in Italy want to form an alliance against ”the democrats and the left” in Europe, naming Macron as their main opponent. I have one thing to say to them: bring it on.

    Iran has executed 23-year-old MajidReza Rahnavard. Majidreza Rahnavard, in the second execution amid protests, after the 8 Dec execution of Mohsen Shekari. We must condemn this, but its not enough to just condemn this brutal and evil act.
