HUGE 💣 news for IMGs! The American Board of internal medicine is considering a pathway that allows American BOARD certification with just a fellowship in the U.S. without U.S. residency!
"The law will make Tennessee the first state to allow IMGs who are licensed in another country to become provisionally licensed and practice in the United States without having to complete a U.S.-based residency".
