Woke this VERY STRANGE morning with an unexpected refrain repeating in my mind - “Until such time as the world ends, I will act as though it intends to spin on.” (Nick Fury, Avengers). I’m personally committed to build a better world for all. #Election2020

I’ve been in space. I’d go to Mars. I work on capabilities for human interstellar travel. But space is not a plan B for Earth #ParisAccord

Thank you Dr. Biden @FLOTUS for recognizing of #WomeninScience Day. Over the years I’ve learned not to limit others to the limits of my imagination. So many worldwide benefits await when the talents & potential of women are unleashed.
On #WomenInScience Day, I’m thinking of Dr. Mae Jemison – the first Black woman in space. She pushes us to believe we are capable of more than we know: “I had to learn very early not to limit myself due to others' limited imaginations.”

This is not #democracy. Storming and breaching the US Capital to stop constitutionally mandated action to enact the results of the legal, certified votes of the decisive majority of US citizens is unconscionable, dangerous, anti-American and #sedition.

#Juneteenth recognizes & celebrates Black people’s freedom and the end of slavery in the US! 19 Jun 1865 Union Army General issued orders to free enslaved people in the retaken confederate territory of Texas 2 years after Lincoln signed the #EmancipationProclamation 1 Jan 1863.
