Multiple studies (during pandemic) have shown that allowing more flexibility in methadone treatment does not lead to more overdoses, diversion, or dropout rates. Rather, patients have reported feeling more satisfied and motivated to stick to their treatment plans. #methadone

It has significantly dropped the tooth decay and improved oral hygiene outcomes. In a country where 1/3 lacks dental insurance, and a majority cant afford dental treatment, ending this policy will have significant consequences.

Thats true. The same medication gets dispensed differently for pain control. This dichotomy doesnt make much sense.
