Inspired by spotting small discarded bits of metal flattened, embedded in Tarmac, polished underfoot, I’m experimenting using this as a canvas for making tiny public artworks. Hot slightly melted roads are ideal. Just installed this one next to a primary school I live by.

Man in suit, in tears, approaches me (in need of a hug!) at the opening of #MuseumOfTheMoon at NaturalHistoryMuseum @NHM_London. Turns out he’s a space scientist from the European Space Agency @esa who’s spent life studying the moon & all emotional about this close encounter!
