- Replying to @miles_commodoreDue to my father's career he was gone much more than he was home. My grandpa was the closest thing to a father I have ever known and he was gone far too soon for me. Fortunately I listened and remember his story's, songs etc. Those memories are precious to me!

I have lived that, the man, my maternal grandfather was taken at 86 from bone cancer
