    Friends, it’s hard to put the universe into language and into a short message, but She passed away last night, surrounded by family and love, including yours. Keep her name close and sacred. Share this moment with someone who needs you. Love is indeed the most important thing.

    When you hear of someone falling off or becoming homeless or a hoarder after someone close to them dies, it’s not the grief that put them there - it’s the mountain of cold bullshit they have to cut through just to function and go on with life. The crowning gift of capitalism.

    Friends. Your love is perfect and overwhelming. Spread it. Thank you. Funeral will be this Thursday likely at 1 pm at the LDS church in Duluth. All are welcome and we indeed invite you. Peace and love. Equal rights and justice, too, but peace and love through and through.

    WEAR A MASK AT SHOWS! -yes, there are exceptions -bands can’t afford to get sick and cancel shows -if you really love music, this should not be difficult -many people just can’t go to shows until this really goes away -please, no demands or arguments, just please. 🙌🏻

    I wish I could explain the strange scattered-ness and social confusion that has set in since Mim died. I know people understand, but I’m embarrassed at how inconsistent I’ve become.

    Low took Godspeed You Black Emperor on their first US tour years ago. It was mostly small rooms in the southeast. They’d quite literally blow the doors out every night - playing our set after them felt like standing in an empty crater. I’m excited to play shows with them again.
