For 26 years, @LewisvilleISD has been my home. I am proud that my family is part of this community, that my daughters are LISD students, and that I now have the opportunity to serve our district as superintendent.

- Thank you to everyone for all of the tweets, emails, texts, phone calls, and facebook posts with congratulations for being named the Lone Finalist for @LewisvilleISD. LISD is a special place with special people and I am excited for this opportunity and to serve our community!

- The title I am most proud of is that of being Mom to Kate and Macy. Their support as I serve our community means so much to me.
- As a mom and educator, I am heartbroken by the unspeakable tragedy in Uvalde. There are no words that could express the profound sorrow at the senseless loss of these precious lives. We send our love and support to the Uvalde families, community and fellow educators in UCISD.
- Standing room only at the Senate Education Committee where bills related to vouchers will be heard today. Delivering mine and the @LewisvilleISD Board of Trustees response to SB 8. Public schools need to be fully funded this session.
