I spent the last three months speaking to people who knew Luigi Mangione to understand the man who has become our fractured society’s most striking Rorschach test
BREAKING: Lifesaving medication for postpartum hemorrhaging is being pulled off emergency carts because of new Louisiana law reclassifying misoprostol as a controlled dangerous substance. My first @pulitzercenter StoryReach article for @IlluminatorLA
There are some stories that you know will stay with you for a very long time, and this is one of them. Had the honor of profiling these five women who have been warning about AI risks before you'd ever heard of ChatGPT. My latest for @RollingStone
I spoke w/@AnnaKendrick47 about the pain & confusion of emotional abuse, how deeply it makes you question yourself. Kendrick's new film #alicedarling is a rare, nuanced portrait that will feel heartbreakingly familiar for survivors and their loved ones
A rural physician I spoke with hadn't even heard misoprostol was being reclassified. "What? That's death!" she said when I told her about the cart removal. She said pharmacies have already been "pushing back" when she prescribed the medication for miscarriages
50 doctors signed a letter to the Louisiana Department of Health and Surgeon General Ralph Abraham asking for additional guidance, specifically “how to ensure [misoprostol] will be readily and quickly available in commonly used obstetric hemorrhage carts.”
One OB-GYN I spoke with said it's been preemptively pulled off some postpartum carts already, and that there's "confusion and angst" among doctors worried about how this will affect inpatient care
I sat down with @AOC to talk about her experience surviving deepfake AI abuse and how strongly she feels that this issue goes far beyond sexually-explicit images. @RollingStonerollingstone.com/culture/cultur…
Are Tedbecca endgame? I spoke with these #TedLasso sleuths and superfans who rewatch episodes, study Easter eggs, and fully believe Ted and Rebecca are soulmates latimes.com/entertainment-…@latimes
When you texted that my story was "misguided and misleading" I asked you to detail how & you refused to answer. Never once did I report misoprostol can no longer be prescribed. Doctors using this drug daily are worried about how a DELAY in access will endanger hemorrhaging women
