- re: knxwledge, I just wish ppl valued instrumental music the way they value music w vocals/lyrics. I still can’t really wrap my head around why instrumental music/production is often treated like a second class citizen as if it’s not the backbone of everything we listen to ?
- one of my favorite things about teaching ableton is when I get students who've never produced and they make the absolute wildest genre-less shit I've ever heard because they literally have no references in electronic music

- It still amazes me how people feel so superior playing instruments vs chopping samples. As someone who was trained in classical music & composition, I’ll be the first to tell you: sampling is a SKILL and it deserves to be respected. Gtfo with that purist attitude 🚴🏼💨💨💨
