First Deere strike in 35 years.
I posted this the day of Grandpa's funeral and didn't realize how relevant it would be. He was part of that strike 35 years ago
For anyone just catching up on the 10,000 worker UAW strike at John Deere -- the largest strike in the US in two years -- here's how you can get up to speed, based on what I've written for @labornotes:
Its WILD seeing people on any tweet about Canada's point deduction talking about how its unfair. I get it, sucks that the players who probably had no say get punished. But like....y'all are lucky they didn't throw you out of the whole tournament.
f Carli Lloyd.
You can play like dogshit and finish last and you do not deserve abuse. This is disgusting and shows that she has contributed to this.
Sorry you never felt loved Carli. Winning those awards was never enough for you. Your jealously always stood in the way
For our blocked pals, Carli Lloyd is blaming the abuse found in the FIFPRO report on team performance. She’s also claiming the online abuse was comparable in 2015 and 2019.
