- Replying to @liftwith_martinPride is Gilbert Baker. He was commissioned to design a flag that would be used for the annual San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade in 1978. Gilbert then created the rainbow flag that ultimately became a symbol of pride in the LGBTQ+ community. #Pride #ResistTogether
