    Happy to announce that my new book AFTER DARK - photographs of cities after midnight - is coming to bookstores! ☔️⬇️
    AFTER DARK - Photography by Liam Wong. Hong Kong Mansions - architectural image of a residential building in Hong Kong. The sky is yellow, the buildings are dark and in shades of blues with the windows lit up yellow.

He stands there holding a briefcase, illuminated by the overhead halogen station platform lamps. He looks small in the frame, showing off the verticality of the metropolis.

Only his silhouette is visible. He stands to the right of the frame. The left half of the frame is dark in contrast to the light on the right with small lanterns reflecting on to the road infront of him.

    Daydreaming in Kyoto

    Tokyo after dark

A couple stand at the bottom of the frame in silhouettes. They are miniscule in the 9:16 format image. There is a glow to the lights from the filter. It is a light blue in color, almost sterile.

    This bookstore reminded me of Inception & Interstellar

    Memories of Green, Tokyo
    An artistic photograph of Tokyo at night - several silhouettes walk through an alleyway in Shinjuku. Izakaya smoke fills the alley above them, overhead wires cut through the alleyway. Large signs for restaurants, lit up with old style bulb lights can be seen. The image is orange and teal in color, with yellows and orange through the colors of the signs and lanterns. It feels atmospheric and the colors are edited and Color-graded in a way to reinforce how it feels to be there with a sense of nostalgia. The image is named after the song by Vangelis - which featured in the movie Blade Runner.
