- Some professional news: I'm taking on a new role @insidehighered, covering Admissions and Enrollment. I'm looking forward to tackling this beat at such a critical juncture. As always, tips, ideas and suggestions are welcome.
- Some personal news: tomorrow will be my last day at Inside Higher Ed. I’m thrilled to be joining @business as education reporter in Washington, covering the Trump administration's efforts to reshape the education landscape.

- NEW: The pace of student visa revocations this week is staggering. Upwards of 200 have been reported—but the total is likely much higher. I talked to college officials reluctant to report dozens of visa terminations, anxious to avoid federal scrutiny.
- Behind every delay, policy failure and technical error plaguing the new FAFSA, there were thousands of students whose college dreams were suddenly in limbo. Proud of our team's work on this project: the Faces of the FAFSA Fiasco
- The U of Missouri system is removing racial criteria from endowed scholarships, which they say are illegal after the affirmative action ban. I spoke with the donors whose funds were affected. They’re angry, disillusioned and, in some cases, ready to sue.
- FAFSA completion rates are trailing so far behind last year that we could be on track for the largest enrollment dive since the pandemic -- one that would mainly affect low-income students of color. My story on the urgency of the completion crisis:
