    We are studying today's judgement by the UK Supreme Court. Nothing they rule will change our solidarity with the trans+ community and with everyone who seeks to live their lives under control of their own bodies, and free from poverty, ignorance or conformity. (1/3)

    Hearing Pride London has been disrupted by anti LGBT+ protesters attacking trans people. It appears Pride are letting the transphobes lead the march!

    On Tuesday, @EHRC released a gov-commissioned letter to append the word "biological" to the protected category of "sex" in the #EqualityAct. We strongly oppose this politically motivated, homophobic, and transphobic assault. Full #EHRC statement at lgbtld.uk/ehrc_state

    When he came to office, Keir Starmer promised his government would "tread more lightly" on folks' lives. Bridget Phillipson's announcement that trans folks should use the wrong toilets is monstrous. It shows Labour to be no better than the US Republicans. They should be ashamed

    We are getting a lot of activity in our mentions from transphobic “feminists”, so we’d like to be clear: Trans women are women. The humanity, digitity and equality of trans people is not a matter for debate. The Liberal Democrats will always be there for trans people.

    Due to intolerable abuse, we have made the decision to close the helpline and webchat services for the rest of today and tomorrow. Next week, to enable us to take all volunteers off the rota, we will reduce hours to 9am to 6pm only.

    We are disappointed that the party's disciplinary process has ruled that calling Fair Play for Women a transphobic hate group requires an apology. We would not apologise for calling a racist group racist; we shouldn't for calling a transphobic hate group what they are. 🦇

    The UKSC ruling was an opportunity for the government and the EHRC to step up and commit to affirm the rights of all. They've failed on every measure, choosing to peddle hate and discrimination instead. We've heard enough: Kishwer Falkner and Bridget Phillipson must resign. 1/2
