Yesterday, unexpectedly, I found myself watching entire Harry & Meghan Netflix series in one go. I wanted to see if a) the production was any good and b) if, in the light of the criticism of it by some, my mind would be changed. It was well made and my support for them enhanced..

Perhaps those having a go at Miriam Margolyes re her comments about "nasty" Terry Scott may like to also reflect on the fact that June Whitfield said the same of her former co-star. Were she alive I wonder if the Union Jack obsessed Twitter folk would call her names. Doubt it.

..countries about the historic crimes of Britain. Glad series was not simply about one couple but covered history of UK, the Royal family & race. This series was clearly aimed more at a foreign market than UK viewers. I stayed engaged in series & fail to comprehend why M is hated

by so many. It can only come down to a) her being mixed race b) being thought of only as an actress and/or c) that she spoke truth to power. I know that so called royal correspondents know truth of why brothers fell out, newspaper editors & some broadcasters know. That M provided

..If I have the time and inclination, I will write a review for publication elsewhere. I want to. I do know others will write it up better, but I feel compelled to do so. Glad @DavidOlusoga was involved in the production. He will have educated viewers in USA & viewers in other..

For as long as I can remember, Palace has been woeful when it comes to their own PR & dealing with controversies. You have to go back decades since they had a reliable press officer. It is possible to be supportive of H&M but not be against royals. But they don’t make it easy.

a shoulder for her sister in law to cry on, not the other way around. That H is not the villain. He’ll never reveal it all in same way he won’t say which family member asked ‘how black will the baby be?’ And editors won’t print the truth as they never did in 70’s re Prince Philip

the press and social media, the institution will now come for them. In that sense it was a mistake to do the Netflix series. But how else could they tell their side of the story? Their truth. I remain baffled why people hate. The best quotes came from her mother & @DavidOlusoga

Nice put down of the ghastly Andrea Jenkyns by Ian Hislop after she says the audience had been selected to boo her. She is so out of her depth on HIGNFY, laughing falsely. She also claims Jenrick and Badenoch are more like One Nation Tories. 🤦‍♂️ No idea why they booked her.

the institution and the press feed off each other, need each other and will continue to lie to the public and promote only a positive image in hope of preserving the institution. Anyone who gets in the way is to be fed to the wolves. I don’t think H&M can ‘win’ and with help of..

All wrong. Bang out of order. Feel for you and crew. But this is Brexit Britain. What did you expect? Your employer facilitated it. Some BBC programmes virtually promoted it.

Very sad news re Jonnie Irwin. Never had the pleasure of working with him but know I would have liked to. He appeared more genuine and empathetic when dealing with the public on A Place in the sun. Gone far too young.

There’s only one act of treachery here. And the press know who the guilty party is (spoiler alert: it’s NOT Harry). I said they’d come for him. They are.

46 years on, nothing has changed. Women still not safe on the streets. Many killers never brought to justice. Including the rapist and murderer of my friend Lynne Weedon (September 1975).
