My Mum was a cleaner. I’d go on jobs with her when I was a kid. I never felt shame then or now, it was a job that helped pay the bills. That’s what I admired.

- My first week @SkyNews complete. I don’t often appreciate the strides I make but in the last 18 months I’ve given birth, left my job at the BBC after 16 years, moved city & started freelancing. While life isn’t perfect, I’m not perfect, I’m standing strong in my achievements 👩🏽💻
- I shared this below a year ago to describe the grief of losing my mum. "I hope death is like being carried to your bedroom when you were a child & fell asleep on the couch during a family party. I hope you can hear the laughter from the next room" - lilies abounded
- I grew up dreaming of a career at the BBC & I am blessed to call this institution my workplace. But increasingly it’s starting to feel like a place that isn’t for me. I liked the @vicderbyshire show, it gave a voice to those, like me, who weren’t served by other media outlets.

- I’ll be joining the @skynews family as a freelance presenter from November. I’ve always admired Sky News & it’s a dream to join them on air. The lengths their correspondents like Alex Crawford & Stuart Ramsay go to bring the latest, impartial news blows me away. #BreakingNews
- My local Indian restaurant likes to brag about all the different news outlets they’ve been on. My favourite has to be ‘BBC FIVE ALIVE’. 😜🤣 @bbc5live

- Delighted to say I’ve finally been offered a full time role on @NeighboursTV for 6 months starting from September. I can’t go into details about the role etc but it’s going to be pretty big. Thanks everyone.
- I’ve been really saddened by this today. I think Dan was enormously brave to talk so honestly about what happened. I keep thinking of Gary’s two boys. And yes keep checking in on the people you love ❤️
