He covers MLB on the east coast and hasn't been to Toronto in 32 years? Yikes.
Rogers Centre is beautiful. A belated congrats for all the improvements (I hadnโ€™t been here since Joe Carter). Also: Itโ€™s the one stadium with good food in the press room

Canadians just elected a residential school denialist. This is a dark day.

I'd tell you to speak to an acquaintance of mine about this, but I can't. Because he's dead. As a result of a seizure that he suffered trying to detox from alcohol on his own rather than at a supervised facility. So, yes. They are.

My new Blue Jays viewing routine: 1. Turn on game. 2. Get painfully bored within 10 minutes and spend my time scrolling on this hellsite. 3. Hear in the background that the game is out of reach by the third inning. 4. Turn off game.

And ask yourselves this: if they were willing to do it in such a high profile case - where they no doubt knew there was reliable evidence that would prove their evidence untrue - how often does it happen in courtrooms every day? Weโ€™ve been trying to tell you.
Toronto Police officers appear to have lied on the stand to try and get a man wrongly convicted of murder. Feels like we have to talk about it now.

Why was Ford working from home when heโ€™s ordered all government employees back to the office full time?
Dropped by @fordnation's home in Etobicoke today. ย  We spoke about getting major projects built, our governmentโ€™s plan to toughen bail and sentencing laws, and our measures to support workers and industries affected by tariffs.ย  ย  My thanks to the Premier for his partnership.

Dude on CBC just said that in Canada police forces are civilized and don't use force at protests. No, sir. In Canada police forces don't use force at WHITE protests.

Police showed up and changed the locks at Adamson BBQ. Owner just showed up and happily went in the side door instead. Pro tip: if you change the locks, you gotta change all the locks. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

I had a case a few years ago in which undercover officers with their firearms drawn ran at my client in his car. The independent evidence established they did not identify themselves as police officers. They said they didโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s really disappointing to see Donovan Bailey retweeting hateful (and misinformed) shit like this.
