Turns out Goa Tourism decided the best course of action when tens of thousands of people are complaining about how badly they were treated in the state is this:

Tourism in Goa is down in dumps Foreign tourists have abandoned the state already. Look at 2019 v 2023 numbers. Russians and Brits who used to visit annually have opted for Sri Lanka instead. Indian tourists still visiting, but soon likely to ditch it as word spreads about

I used to think Raghuram Rajan is very smart. Modi and his advisors are dumb. Then the pandemic happened. Rajan, Banerjee, Sen etc adviced developing countries to print money like there is no tomorrow Some of them did that (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri lanka etc) but India did

I wrote fiercely agnst Modi for 10 years on social media, nobody tried to cancel me, prevent eminent speakers from speaking at our events, start conspiracy theories, write fake reviews or any such thing. All of that happened when I publicly appreciated Modi for his good work.

It’s funny that they claim CEIC Data is Chinese. You can go to their about us page and see that it is london headquartered. It has two offices in India - Mumbai and Bangalore. It has presence in 18 countries. Nowhere on its website it says its Chinese Economic Information Center.
🚨 Goa government files police complaint against entrepreneur for ‘false' tourism claims on X. "The data circulating online is from the China Economic Information Center (CEIC)," said the government.

It’s crazy how fast India did this. Stunning to say the least.
These are 10 Indian industries that are supposed to be worst affected by 50% Trump Tariff But look at their September YoY numbers. A big FU to Trump for that dead economy jibe

So I find it hard to agree that India is apparently not a democracy anymore. Here, you can say almost anything against the govt, against the majority community, against the right wing. Try saying a word about the holy cows of the left liberal ecosystem. Let me know what happens.

A young girl who spent a few weeks in a jail in a false case told me how she had no access to period care while she was in judicial custody. Women used, reused and shared a piece of cloth to stem the bleeding. This is happening for ages and no FEMINISTS stepped up to fix it.

Dear @DrPramodPSawant, your tourism department has filed a police complaint against me for sharing data of plummeting tourism in Goa which started this debate. It's not supposed to be a shocker to you because at least two ministers in your government gave statements to media
#Goa's tourism sector has taken a beating over the last few days. With hundreds of people sharing their personal experiences of being let down in Goa, it's time for @goacm, @RohanKhaunte and the tourism stakeholders to get the basics right.

This is not well known but Bangladesh garment industry was set up, financed and run by Indian entrepreneurs and investors with local collaborators in order to benefit from the ease of labour laws, low wages and easier access to global markets due to Bangladesh’s most poor country
The Bangladeshi garment industry is on the verge of extinction. They don't have money to pay the wages. Yunus is forcefully shutting down the garment sector. Bangladesh's 84% of national foreign earnings come from the garment industry.
