Gas & electricity prices about to rocket, National Insurance going up, NHS we can barely access, food shortages & unsafe schools...and you still think the Tories are on your side?

Any other chatty poor people had this message request? If this is a real article, then they are beyond off-base. @BootstrapCook one for you?

Yes - we have some of the smallest homes in the world, on average. We're a tiny island. That's how it goes. But we're pretty good with gun control, free healthcare and affordable education, so there's that (for now).

He told his family, his doctor, his school that, "his dad was going to kill him." So many professionals well-trained to step in: we've learned f*ck all, haven't we? #RIPArthur

We know there are food shortages. We know there are price rises. Nothing screams that they're about to get worse, more than a government choosing to implement an archaic measurement system that will befuddle the customer & cover for yet more #BrexitChaos .

Do you remember the days when we only had duck islands and "2 Jags" to get pissed off about? Those sweet, halcyon days of brown envelopes, quangos & Chelsea shirts...ahhh, happier times.

No, you really don't. He has clearly surrendered. The police are not the same as the judge and jury. The crime is immaterial: they are there to arrest, not punish. That is the law.

You forgot the price of a bus to & from Aldi with kids in tow; gas/electricity to cook; working appliances; extra vegetables to make that healthy; additions to make it flavoursome & crucially that we eat more than 1 meal a day. Be poor for generations. Then make suggestions.

I'm a teacher and I definitely agree with this. Most are incredible, but there are many who go in to the profession for the power & control. They are the bullies that never left school.

"These are white people, for Christ's sake! White people!" You can hear it dripping from so many of them - real, palpable shock. I know that's partly that for many of us in this country, this is the first relatively geographically close war. But the racism is loud. Very loud.

No, she's part of your family. I agree with the point about kenneling, training, food bills etc if they make a fuss. Equally, you could find one that looks similar and send them that. It's not like they know her well enough to notice. You could probably send a duck, tbf.

I thought chair was cl-irty, floor was dirt-ean and floor of bathroom - right next to washing basket - was the, "huh, might see if I can go one more day" pile?

I would love to see you feed an entire family on her salary, with her workload, with her family commitments, bills, rent, transport etc. Not for a week. For years. Day in day out. You have no idea what you're talking about, because if you did you would never say such a thing.

If I'd looked like that in my 20's, I'd have been pretty chuffed.
