It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ken Barlow. Ken joined the League Council of the LAL in 1976 for four years, then rejoined in 1991 and only stepped down in 2015 due to ill health - a grand total of 28 years service. He will be missed by all of us.

Terribly sad to learn of the passing of @Mostonians_AFC club stalwart and dedicated volunteer Bryan Powell. The LAL committee and the league send their condolences to all at the club. Grassroots football is a poorer place tonight. ⚽️

After discussions today the L.A.L have decided that due to the inclement weather ALL games whether on grass or artificial surface for this weekend (03.03.18) will be postponed. This decision has been taken with the safety of players traveling to, and taking part in games.

Thrilled to report that the LAL side won 3-1 tonight against all the odds. Goals from Callum Hewitt, Sean Rushton and Jonathon Thompson saw us retain the shield against the Liverpool County Premier League. Photos to follow. 👍🏻⚽️👏🏻
