It's like this: Protest is born out of pain. Progress is born out of struggle. Freedom will be born out of persistence. Mark that down. Larry Middleton 8/29/20

I've been asked why are "liberals and progressives" so angry? Well I don't know about liberals or progressives, but I know what affect me, and I have every reason to be. But I am doing what I can to help fix it. But for those who would ask, the real question is...why aren't you?

No, Trump is not donating $25 million for the storm. His assets are tied up in court and he has to get permission from the special master to move or spend any. And his campaign money is tied up with court expenses. If you believe that he will donate, YOU'RE the stupid one.

The older I get the more I see that George Carlin was as much a prophet as a comedian. Too many people laughed but didn't heed his warnings.

Trump is going to Valdosta, GA, to "observe" storm damage. He can't approve aid. He won't bring any help. His presence impedes recovery. He doesn't have the decency to support the administration in helping the people. It's a campaign event based on the misery of others.

The fact that the cops did not shoot - and safely took into custody - a still armed active shooter who just murdered 10 people just gives full vindication to everything #Kaepernick's protest represents. Folks can act like they don't see or understand, but it is what it is.

Who the hell supposedly gets shot at then immediately sends out a fundraising email other than Trump? The mountain of BS is growing.

Martha Stewart went to prison for WAY less that Ginni Thomas. Just sayin'.

The biggest scam and lie on earth: We have to cut social security because it "costs too much." Social Security is the only program that has its own funding stream and trust fund. Social Security doesn't cost too much. Billionaires are just anxious to rob it for themselves.

BRITTANY WATTS is still locked up in Ohio after a miscarriage. It's the holidays, and while some folks have stepped back from politics and social media for family time and other wonderful things, this is a reminder that cruelty and punishment continue. I need to say her name.

Lindsey Graham said that Trump "let's me be in his world." What grown man says that?

Seeing Hillary speak at Madeleine Albright's funeral makes me lament all over again just how badly America screwed up in 2016.

As of yesterday, the precincts reported record in-person turnout. Up till Monday, there was record mail-in and early voter participation. But somehow there are 18-20 million votes less than 2020? Yet the press isn't even minimally curious about that. Sounds like complicity to me.

Romney was personally directed by a Capitol police officer, but he couldn't be bothered to show up today.

Joe is so Joe. For as pissed, angry, and hurt as many of his supporters are, he's actually comforting, consoling, and guiding them. That kind of leadership, sacrifice, honor, dignity, and grace is the rarest of rare. Republicans will never understand how or why people love Joe.
