Visualizing 2018 on the Kansas Mesonet. Temperature anomalies compared to normal for the entire network. June's warmth and the two cold periods in mid-Oct/Nov really pop out. #kswx
Some impressive tree damage on east side of K-State campus with buildings damaged. A lot of multi-directional tree fall and substantial limbs 4-8" diameter carried a long ways. #kswx@NWSTopeka
On average, Kansas has had 95 tornadoes a year since 1991. This year however, set a new low for the period AND all time. Only 17 were observed!! (Assuming no more since September) #kswx
