- Today is the 26th anniversary of Swiss Air 111. Dad was a volunteer firefighter and we lived two hours away from the disaster but he one one of the first responders assigned to dealing with the aftermath of the crash. He never spoke to anyone what he saw.
- Rent has more than tripled in HRM in the past 13 years. I remember when you could get a one bedroom apartment for $500... Now they want to charge $1500 for that same apartment. We need rent control and we need it now.
