I'm unfortunately very desperate and need some sort of income while I'm still unable to find consistent employment. I don't have a savings and I'm all out of places to turn. To survive, I'm making myself available for mercenary art jobs as a last ditch effort.

I think everybody agrees with this at baseline but there is a point where practically there’s a lot of predatory elements just accepted and allowed in that parents have to watch out for. I understand why they get that way, but it’s a balancing act and some parents are unbalanced

quakers meet to have fellowship gatherings once a month and a bunch of them meet at starbucks. the local ones here do at least. also i imagine since theyre pacifists and opposed to war even on "just war" argument basis they are also boycotting the bux and just loitering there

they’re eroding so much anti communism. Same goes for Cuba embracing having a doctor corps that volunteers and helps all over the world. Their version is less banal but it does show that countries can choose a path and take it that isn’t just settling for free market solutions

people don’t talk about things like Tuskegee experiments or MKULTRA or undercover cops shooting in crowd in 2020 uprising and yet many Chinese I met in China knew about Tiananmen Square student movement and all had different views on it. So I don’t understand what you are saying.
